After losing to the Caverna Colonels the last time they met, the Larue County Hawks decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Larue County enjoyed a cozy 63-47 victory over the Colonels on Friday.
Larue County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daniel Allen led the charge by scoring 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Allen has scored all season. Landon Blakey was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Larue County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Caverna, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8.
Larue County will head out on the road to take on the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Caverna, they will be playing at home against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
