Baseball Recap: Family Christian Has No Trouble Against Northeast

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Parkview Baptist, Family Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Northeast Vikings. The result was nothing new for the Flames, who have now won 16 matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Family Christian let Terrance Kilbourne and Rhylan Frank run wild. Kilbourne scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1, while Frank scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. That's the most runs Frank has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Edwin Bermudez, who scored three runs and stole a base.

Family Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Northeast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9-1.

Looking ahead, Family Christian will face off against Parkview Baptist at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northeast, they will host East Feliciana at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
