Winner can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 49-18 win over Crow Creek. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Winner has posted yet this season.
Winner relied on the efforts of Keelie Kuil, who scored four points along with nine steals and five assists, and Kylie Sachtjen, who scored 16 points along with six steals. Kuil is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Cici Watson was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton didn't have too much trouble with Wagner on the road on Tuesday as they won 59-45.
Winner's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Mt. Vernon/Plankinton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
Winner came up short against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 54-45. Can Winner avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
