Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tipton-Rosemark Academy). They were the clear victor by a 15-4 margin over the Father Ryan Irish on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on three straight.
Hunter Harkness made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Harkness was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Tipton-Rosemark Academy got a massive performance out of Wesley Pinner, who scored four runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Pinner also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Trace Scott, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Tipton-Rosemark Academy pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.2 runs. As for Father Ryan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
