The Valor Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Lakewood 91-18 on the road. Valor Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 39 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Quinn Vansickle, who scored 23 points along with four steals. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Beers, who scored nine points along with six assists and four steals.
Valor Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Lakewood, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valor Christian will challenge Ralston Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ralston Valley will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Lakewood, they will head out on the road to challenge Arvada West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Arvada West focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday.
