The Keystone Heights Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Yulee Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
The third road game was the charm for Keystone Heights, as they earned their first road win of the season. They snuck past P.K. Yonge with a 27-22 victory on Thursday. The score was all tied up 6-6 at the break, but Keystone Heights was the better team in the second half.
Among those leading the charge was Cartez Daniels, who rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, while Yulee put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Menendez. Yulee took down Menendez 18-0. The win was nothing new for Yulee as they're now sitting on three straight.
Shamarion Gibbs was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
Keystone Heights is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Yulee, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.
