Tanner Huddleston and Derrek Schone provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Pleasant Hill/Western. The connection went for 80 yards, the longest such play in Western Illinois Valley - North this season.
Central/Southeastern extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating North Greene, 42-0. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Panthers.
Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Huddleston threw for 181 and three touchdowns and Schone had 80 yards receiving. On the ground Cody Curry chipped in 91 yards. Matt Parker helped Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia's passing attack out by catching one ball for 31 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Huddleston of the Trojans is the league leader in passing yards this season with 602. He has also thrown eight touchdowns. On the ground, Central/Southeastern's Dalton Heubner has rushed for 1047 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Alex Blickhan. The Unity/Seymour star has 17 catches for 202 yards.
Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia took down the Wolves 51-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Huddleston ran for 70 yards in the win.
