Euclid played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They put the hurt on the Shaker Heights Red Raiders with a sharp 81-56 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Shaker Heights lost, don't look at Mek Black. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chistorpher Cunningham, who put up 12 points and six rebounds.

Euclid's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Shaker Heights, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Euclid will take on Medina at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Euclid knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Medina likes a good challenge. As for Shaker Heights, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Maple Heights at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Shaker Heights is facing Maple Heights at the right time seeing as Maple Heights is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
