After two weeks on the road, Poland is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Gray-New Gloucester at 7:00 PM. Poland have seen their point totals decreasing over the past five games, a vulnerability Gray-New Gloucester are surely hoping to exploit.
Poland have to be aching after a bruising 21-55 defeat to Lisbon/St. Dominic last Saturday.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Gray-New Gloucester, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were dealt a punishing 6-55 loss at the hands of Yarmouth. The state rankings had actually given Gray-New Gloucester a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
