Murfreesboro came into Friday's game looking for another win against Gurdon, but Uriah Gatlin wouldn't allow it. The Go-Devils were the clear victors by a 48-22 margin over the Rattlers on Friday thanks in part to Gatlin, who rushed for 147 yards and two scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 31 receiving yards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 106 rushing yards per game.

Gurdon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tad Cogburn and Jonah Jester.

The victory got Gurdon back to even at 2-2. As for Murfreesboro, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.
