The Chopticon Braves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by James Madison on the road and fell 54-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Chopticon has scored all season.
Brian McMahon and Braylon Harrison certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. McMahon scored nine points along with five steals, while Harrison scored eight points. McMahon is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Chopticon bumped their record down to 2-3 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for James Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chopticon's road trip will continue as they head out to face Central at 12:30 p.m. on December 29th. James Madison will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Rogers Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on December 27th.
