Kingsley extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 3-3 in the process. They skirted past the Pine River Area Bucks 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Stags have posted since April 27, 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pine River Area fell to 8-1. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

For Pine River Area's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mary Nichols, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Nichols has hit this season.

Kingsley and Pine River Area will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Stags are set to face off against their familiar foe Buckley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Pine River Area will square off against rival Beal City at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
