Deering hadn't done well against Davis-Romoth recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Northern Lights came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Northern Lights: when they faced off against the Wolves on Friday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

The victory made it two in a row for Deering and bumps their season record up to 5-6. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 6-9 McQueen and 7-10 Davis-Romoth. As for Davis-Romoth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
