It was a good run, but the Carlisle Indians unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Franklin 54-48. Carlisle was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Franklin apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Kai Cook was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points for Franklin. That makes it five consecutive games in which Cook has scored at least a third of Franklin's points. Another player making a difference was Tito Harrison, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Carlisle's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Franklin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Carlisle will head out on the road to challenge Oakwood at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Monroe at 7:15 p.m.
