River Falls won the last time they faced Barron and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Golden Bears by a score of 2-0.

Amelie Pankonin paced River Falls' offense, picking up nine kills. Pankonin got some help from Anika Schwartz and her 18 assists. Pankonin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

River Falls has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-6 record this season. As for Barron, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 28-5.

River Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Eau Claire North on the 13th. As for Barron, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cameron on the 14th.
