Gilbert posted their closest victory since October 17, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Roosevelt Roughriders. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Roughriders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Gilbert back to even at 3-3. As for Roosevelt, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gilbert will venture away from home to take on Bondurant-Farrar at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Roosevelt, they will take on Mason City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Roughriders are facing the Mohawks at the right time seeing as the Mohawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
