Meanwhile, Benton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They snuck past Battle with a 59-55 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Capital City now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Benton, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
