The American Collegiate Academy Rough Riders entered their tilt with the Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. American Collegiate Academy took down Bayshore Christian 57-41 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as American Collegiate Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.
American Collegiate Academy was led to victory by Tristan Townsend and Marcus Green. Townsend scored 17 points along with three steals, while Green dropped a double-double on 27 points and 20 rebounds.
Several Faith Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adrian Hopper, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Jreisat, who scored ten points.
American Collegiate Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Bayshore Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-14.
American Collegiate Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Classical Prep at 4:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Bayshore Christian, they will take on Newsome at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
