Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlie Hanson, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Kehoe, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds.
New London-Spicer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New London-Spicer will challenge Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, they will head out on the road to face off against Lac qui Parle Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
