Roane County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Cumberland County Jets as they made off with a 13-3 win. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by ten runs or more this season.

Roane County's record now sits at 10-4. As for Cumberland County, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Roane County will square off against Harriman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Cumberland County, they will take on Eagleton College & Career Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jets will need to watch out since the Royals have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
