Fivay is 0-4 against Pasco since March of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Fivay is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Bishop McLaughlin Catholic 23-7 on Wednesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Danna Sleeman made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February.

Those four hits gave Wojcik a new career-high. Sofia Torres Gutierrez was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Fivay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .737. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Pasco came out on top against Zephyrhills on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Pirates had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted against the Bulldogs since March 1, 2022.
Abigail Grubbs made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off 11 hits (and only one walk). Grubbs was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Morgan Montelongo, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
Fivay's record now sits at 6-11. As for Pasco, their record is now 8-12.
Fivay's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Falcons have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Pasco, though, as they've been averaging only 0.8 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Fivay continue to outrun the ball?
Fivay suffered a grim 17-2 defeat to Pasco when the teams last played back in April of 2018. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
