Spring Valley not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since September 10, 2024 (when they won  3-0). Everything went their way against the Hammond Skyhawks as they made off with  a  3-0 win. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Spring Valley never let Hammond on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16,  25-23.
Spring Valley's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kaia Wilhite, who  had six  digs and two  aces. The dominant performance also gave  Wilhite a new career-high in  assists (17).  Ariana Robinson was another key player,  getting nine  digs and two  aces.
