Wamego saw some tournament action  on Saturday. They fell just short of the South Cougars by a score of  2-1.
 In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Wamego sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 21-25,  26-24.
 Ryann Langvardt paced Wamego's offense, picking up ten kills. Langvardt got some help from  Leah Winter and her 13 assists. Finally,  Langvardt was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.
  Brylee Moss went supernova For South.,  getting 19  digs and two  assists. Those  19  digs gave  Moss a new career-high.
Wamego's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for South, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
 Wamego wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  2-0  victory against Chapman on the 30th. As for South, they have also already played their next game,  a  2-1  win against Andover on the 2nd.
