Basketball Recap: Academy of American Studies Piles Up the Points Against Queens Tech

Academy of American Studies won the last time they faced Queens Tech and things went their way on Friday too. The Academy of American Studies Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Queens Tech 85-29. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Academy of American Studies pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Queens Tech, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Academy of American Studies will head out to challenge Information Tech at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th. Queens Tech has already played their next game (against Middle College), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
