Legend is 0-5 against Valor Christian since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Legend Titans are on the road again and play against the Valor Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Legend had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Brighton on the road to the tune of 51-14. Legend might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.
Jaden Lawrence continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 74 yards and three touchdowns. Nick Farley was another key contributor, throwing for 107 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Valor Christian came tearing into two weeks ago's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 39-34 win over Mountain Vista. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Gabe Sawchuk and Asher Weiner were among the main playmakers for Valor Christian as the former rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns and the latter rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns.
Legend has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Valor Christian, they have yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 6-4 record.
Legend was dealt a bruising 42-14 loss at the hands of Valor Christian when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Can Legend avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
