The Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles will challenge the Uxbridge Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Advanced Math & Science Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Advanced Math & Science Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Massachusetts' top teams: Tantasqua Regional, who was ranked eighth at the time (Advanced Math & Science Academy was ranked third). The Eagles skirted past the Warriors 4-3.

Ava McLeod spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Brooke Laudate was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Glynn, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Uxbridge came up short against Hopedale on Wednesday, falling 8-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Uxbridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lola Grube, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
Advanced Math & Science Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Uxbridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
Advanced Math & Science Academy's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's matchup. The Eagles have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Uxbridge, though, as they've been averaging only 0.6 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Advanced Math & Science Academy continue to outrun the ball?
Everything went Advanced Math & Science Academy's way against Uxbridge in their previous matchup back in April, as Advanced Math & Science Academy made off with a 12-2 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
