Burroughs entered their tilt with Parkway Central on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They had just enough and edged out the Colts 4-2.

Burroughs pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Parkway Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Burroughs will head out to take on Lutheran North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkway Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kirkwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Colts' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
