The Lehman Lobos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Boerne-Champion Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boerne-Champion took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lehman, who comes in off a win.
Lehman's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They really took it to MacArthur for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-0 victory on the road. The win was just what Lehman needed coming off of a 47-0 defeat in their prior game.
Lehman's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Collin Richardson led the charge by throwing for 238 yards and four touchdowns. Isaiah Hernandez was another key contributor, rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-14, which was the final score in Boerne-Champion's tilt against Smithson Valley on Friday. It was the first time this season that Boerne-Champion let down their fans at home.
Lehman's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Boerne-Champion, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
Lehman might still be hurting after the 37-14 loss they got from Boerne-Champion in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Lehman, Colin Ryan (who rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
