The Hagerty Huskies will challenge the Winter Park Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Hagerty is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Boone get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Huskies needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

N. Adkins
| 04/15/26 vs Boone | 8 |
| 04/03/26 @ Oviedo | 4 |
| 03/24/26 @ Seminole | 6 |
| 03/18/26 vs Chaminade-Madonna | 5 |
| 03/10/26 vs Lake Brantley | 8 |
Hagerty got a great performance from N. Adkins as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Adkins has posted since back in March.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on C. Cruz, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was A. Kearney, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Hagerty always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Boone only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, Winter Park had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Wolves as they made off with a 9-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Ryder Simon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Matthew Logan was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Fleming, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Hagerty's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Winter Park, their victory bumped their record up to 15-11.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Hagerty has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Winter Park struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Hagerty came up short against Winter Park when the teams last played back in February, falling 4-0. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
