Despite the defeat, Mills saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kara Da Luz had 34 assists and nine digs. Those 34 assists set a new season-high mark for Da Luz. Noelle Young was another key player, getting ten digs and four aces.
Meanwhile, Capuchino got the win against Westmoor on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.
