The Heights Falcons lost against the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Heights took a 33-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kapaun Mt. Carmel. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Heights in their matchups with Kapaun Mt. Carmel: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the defeat, Heights had strong showings from Jameson Holland, who rushed for 101 yards on only 13 carries, and Aven Mboule, who picked up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown. Mboule was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 61 yards. Jeremiah Yehudah got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, the victory was the fifth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
Heights will head out on the road to face off against Junction City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against South at 7:00 p.m. South comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
