Baseball Recap: Neodesha Has No Trouble Against Fredonia

While Neodesha put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Fredonia. The Blue Streaks put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blue Streaks, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Neodesha and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Fredonia, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neodesha will host Bluestem on Monday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.17 runs per game on average), something the Blue Streaks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fredonia, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cherryvale at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
