Another reason for the win was Toronto's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Catholic Central's QB won't forget Nolan Dickinson anytime soon given Dickinson sacked him four times.
Toronto's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.3 points per game. As for Catholic Central, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.
Toronto will play host again and welcome St. Paul, where Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Paul has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 128 points over their last three games. As for Catholic Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Lowellville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lowellville is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
