Jackson County's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 16 points in the first half. Berea couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 16-0 heading into the break. The offense continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 24 points.
No one had a larger role in the success than senior Isiah Baker, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns. This was the first game for both teams, giving Jackson County a 1-0 record and starting Berea off at 0-1.
