With a playoff game on the line, Imperial rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Tri-City Christian Eagles by a score of  19-7.
 Imperial found their leader in sophomore  Mirella Barron, who threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns. Barron also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making three total tackles and defending a pass.  Addison Clark was another key player, picking up 95 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Imperial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Hannah Johnson and  Clark.
 Imperial has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record  this season. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.6 points per game. As for Tri-City Christian,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 11-6.
 As of now, neither Imperial nor Tri-City Christian have any future games scheduled.
