Beckman has won three straight games at home, while Hillcrest has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Patriots will take on the Trojans at 6:00 p.m.
Beckman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They snuck past Brea Olinda with a 30-24 victory.

Makhi Czaykowski produced another solid effort rushing for 113 yards and three scores on only 11 carries. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Beckman's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Roy Chaya, Rian Silva, and Nathan Tuttle, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillcrest). They claimed a resounding 63-34 win over Tahquitz. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-27.
Hillcrest's win came from a few key players Beckman will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Matthew Ramos, who rushed for 238 yards and three TDs on only 15 carries, and also threw for 119 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes. He is becoming a predictor of Hillcrest's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Reyez Ortiz was in the mix as well, providing the Trojans with three scores.
Hillcrest was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 453 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 162 rushing yards in ten consecutive games.
Hillcrest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dylan Bailey and Ray Causey. Bailey has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last four times he's played. Nicholas Bernal was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble, making 13 total tackles (0.5 for loss), and defending one pass.
Beckman's record is now 11-3. As for Hillcrest, their record now sits at 9-5.
Saturday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Beckman has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 169.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Hillcrest struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 186.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
