A Season-Best  Performance from  Shane Marshall Leads Irwin County over Charlton County
 On Friday, Irwin County got the W thanks in part to  Shane Marshall playing the best football he has all season. Marshall rushed for 230 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 59 receiving yards, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 The  victory for Irwin County keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Marshall and Irwin County will welcome Clinch County  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

Irwin County Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to  Jason Jackson
  Jason Jackson was instrumental in extending Irwin County's winning streak to seven on Friday. Jackson rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 This season,  Jackson  has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 89.4 rushing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 39.29  rushing yards per game.

Junior Burrus Turns in Season-Best  Performance
  Junior Burrus produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Brooks County to the win  on Friday. Burrus threw for 280 yards and six touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. He has become a key player for Brooks County: the team is 3-1 when he posts  at  least  three  passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
 Brooks County's victory was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-3. Burrus will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant  performance when he faces off against Lanier County on Friday.

Curtis Grant Goes Supernova in Turner County Victory
 Thanks in part to  Curtis Grant, Turner County said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak  dating back to last season. Lanier County had no answer to  Grant  on Friday as he rushed for 196 yards while picking up 10.9 yards per carry.
 Turner County's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Grant and Turner County will square off against Crawford County at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Snyder Made His Presence Known in Irwin County's  64-34 Victory
  Luke Snyder was instrumental in extending Irwin County's winning streak to seven on Friday. Snyder turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 60 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 168 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes.
 This season,  Snyder  has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 104.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 16.43  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 45.29  rushing yards.
