Spencer waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their defense stepped up to hand the St. Albert Falcons a 4-0 shutout. Considering Spencer have won nine contests by more than three goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Spencer pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for St. Albert, they moved to 8-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
