If Oregon School for the Deaf wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Washington School for the Deaf, they should've done a better job of containing Nathan Yerkes. The Washington School for the Deaf Terriers claimed a resounding 75-22 victory over the Oregon School for the Deaf Panthers thanks in part to Yerkes, who went 19-for-28 to rack up 42 points along with six steals and five boards. Those 42 points gave him a new career-high.

La'Juan Malone was another key player, going 6-for-13 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. He has become a key player for Washington School for the Deaf: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least five steals, but 5-12 otherwise.
