Wantagh sits negative five games back in second, with a 15-2 record in league play.
The Warriors boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. Wantagh has given up a mere 135 hits on the year, while striking out 162 opposing hitters.
