Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Triton Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-55 victory over Heritage Christian. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Max Crouse had a dynamite game for Triton Central, as he made all 5 shots he took to post 18 points and six assists. That's the most points Crouse has posted since back in November of 2023. Another player making a difference was Sam Collier, who put up seven points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Christel House strolled past Indianapolis Arsenal Technical with points to spare two weeks ago, taking the game 86-69.
Triton Central better keep an eye on Matios Russ. He was instrumental in Christel House's win, going 11-for-13 on his way to 25 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Russ is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last nine games he's played. Josiah Jackson was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 19 points.
Crouse wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Christel House was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. Christel House is 9-1 when they've passed the ball that well.
Triton Central's record now sits at 14-9. As for Christel House, their record is now an identical 14-9.
Friday's game is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Triton Central has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 35.4% of their three-pointers per game. However, it's not like Christel House struggles in that department as they've made 39% of their threes this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Triton Central came up short against Christel House in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 59-49. Can Triton Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
