The Thompson Warriors won the last time they faced the Prattville Lions, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Thompson really took it to Prattville for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-31 win at home. With Thompson ahead 36-15 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Donavan Brown and Ty Bryant certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Brown scored 11 points, while Bryant scored 11 points. The contest was Bryant's sixth in a row with at least ten points.
Thompson's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Prattville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Thompson will head out on the road to face off against Chelsea at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chelsea will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 177th, while Thompson is ranked 38th). As for Prattville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pelham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pelham has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 489 points over their last seven matchups.
