The Bremen Blue Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 76-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ridgeland. While losing is never fun, Bremen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 502nd, while Ridgeland is ranked 203rd).
Matthew Ramsey was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with 3 steals for Ridgeland. Ramsey is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Eron Graham was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Bremen's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ridgeland, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Bremen will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 7:30 p.m. As for Ridgeland, they will head out on the road to face off against Adairsville at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
