Mayde Creek entered their tilt with Cypress Falls on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Rams were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Rams were just returning the favor.

Isabella Gomez paced Mayde Creek's offense, picking up eight kills. Gomez got some help from Autumn Wimberely and her 12 assists. Mailys Petnkeu controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mayde Creek's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Cypress Falls, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mayde Creek will venture away from home to challenge Katy Taylor at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cypress Falls, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on North Shore at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
