Basketball Recap: Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy fought the good fight in their overtime game against South Haven Christian on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took an 81-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Haven Christian. The Archers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Noah Raby, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 boards. Raby has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Joseph Morrow was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds.

It was another big night for Jared White, who went 14 of 30 on his way to 39 points and seven rebounds for South Haven Christian. Those 39 points gave White a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Steinbrook, who posted 17 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.

Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6. As for South Haven Christian, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy will host Agathos Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy is facing Agathos Classical at the right time seeing as Agathos Classical is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for South Haven Christian, they will head out to square off against Clarksville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
