The Roosevelt Roughriders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 29 points or more this season. They blew past Aloha 56-27 on the road. This was payback for Roosevelt, who suffered a 51-43 loss the last time these two teams met.
Roosevelt found their leader in underclassman Nevaeh Landrum, who scored 21 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. The matchup was Landrum's third in a row with at least ten points. Carolina Alonoso was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven steals and five assists.
Roosevelt now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Aloha, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will be home for the holidays to greet Glencoe at 12:25 p.m. on Saturday. As for Aloha, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Canby at 10:45 a.m. on December 16th.
