Chaz Pate was his usual excellent self, throwing for 271 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Braxen Mcmahan, who picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Rockmart had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Colts 35-7 on the road. That 28 point margin sets a new team best for the Yellowjackets this season.
Tristan Anderson and Cortez Wright were among the main playmakers for Rockmart as the former gained 71 total yards and two touchdowns and the latter rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Anderson also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending three passes.
