Plymouth took a six-run  loss the last time they faced off against Northridge, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference.  Gracie Patrick made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Elizabeth Derifield, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and two  runs.  Haylee Busse was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Plymouth  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. They are  a perfect 7-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Plymouth now  has a winning record of 12-11. As for Northridge,  with the  loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-9.
 Coming up, Plymouth will be playing at home against LaVille  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Northridge, they will face off against Carroll at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
