The Coral Reef Barracudas will venture away from home to face off against the Sunset Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Coral Reef made easy work of South Miami and carried off a 13-3 win.

Adrian Nunez tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, Dylan Castro and Oscar Sanchez did most of the damage at the plate: Castro scored three runs and stole five bases while going 3-for-3, while Sanchez went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. Those five RBI gave Sanchez a new career-high. Justin Wagner was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
Coral Reef kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sunset, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over Brito on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Nicholas Roca was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of David Rodirguez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Sunset pushed their record up to 7-11 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Coral Reef, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-14 record this season.
Everything went Coral Reef's way against Sunset in their previous meeting back in March of 2021, as Coral Reef made off with a 20-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Barracudas since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
