The Weston Trojans pushed their score all the way to 64 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 70-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bunnell. Weston has not had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Bunnell found their leader in underclassman Rody Ricketts, who scored 44 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ricketts has scored at least a third of Bunnell's points.
Weston's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Bunnell, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weston will face off against the Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bunnell, they will head out on the road to square off against the Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Notre Dame Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 602 points over their last eight contests.
